This site is, as you might have understood just by seeing the name, dedicated to one of the most excellent drinks of our time. A drink which is so surrounded by old myths and rumours that barely no one knows what is really true, and what's not.

Hopefully this site will shed some light onto this and clear things up.
I will try to collect as much facts and anecdotes as I possibly can. Both to tell you the truth and of course also to keep the myths alive. There are so many stories about poets and painters who supposedly should have done the craziest things under the influence of Absinthe, some of which are true and some not. Probably the reason for the glorification of absinthe today, are those myths, and the hope to relive some of the strange things those poets wrote about. So, to get you all on the right track, I have of course collected a whole lot of poems regarding and relating to absinthe.

Along all that I will share with you, my own experiences from drinking absinthe. For each new bottle that enters my collection, or each new brand I taste, I will include a review and some images of it, right here.
Go on, explore the wonderful world that awaits you - let the green fairy guide you.
